PMO FUNCTIONS

The PMO:

 

* supplements the duties and responsibilities of the EPCM as it acts as the vehicle to monitor and control the project in terms of Scope, Time, Cost and Quality

* serves as a tool of the Owner, allowing accurate and timely communication to enhance control

* allows space to deal with aspects other than technical project matters, like Environmental, Legal, Governance and Labour issues.

* in brief can execute the following if required:

  - Develop charter and preliminary scope

  - Planning

  - Execution

  - Monitor

  - Control

  - Change control- Scope, schedule, Cost, Quality

  - Scope control

  - Cost control
